Music in the Meadow presents Gabe Parsons

Hailing from Hopewell Valley, Central New Jersey – his Heartland where it’s not a place, but rather a state of mind represented sonically in his music.

Home plays a large role in his music about growing up. Gabe, as a writer, is a student of his influences with most notably artiest like; Bruce Springsteen, the Lumineers and Lord Huron.

Gabe started his career in earnest at Loyola University New Orleans School of Music Industry, where he concurrently began to play and start making a name for himself around the city. Gabe has also previously released three independent records. These songs are the core of his live set.

A seasoned performer, Gabe has been actively gigging since he was 16.  His live shows are intimate, pensive and full of joy. His most recent performances include sets at French Quarter Festival alongside Kristin Diable and Freret Street Festival. Additionally, Gabe is hard at work tracking his next album “The Heartland;” and this summer he will embark on a summer tour that spans the East Coast and Sun Belt.
