Guest Rooms
All guest rooms feature a variety of amenities including complimentary WiFi, Frette linens, towels, bathrobes, and oak floors (some original to the building). All bathrooms have ceramic Portico tiles, Blackman fixtures, and Malin + Goetz bath amenities. Several rooms also have fireplaces, sleeper sofas, and sitting areas. Each room is unique with its own design of modern meets rustic, from brands such as La lune and Old Hickory Furniture, with rugs from Stark Carpet and unique textured wallpaper from Phillip Jeffries.

Complimentary breakfast is included in your stay. Inn Breakfast is served daily at The Clubhouse Restaurant from 8am – 10am.
DOG FRIENDLY ROOMS
Our Shandaken King Suite rooms are dog friendly with a nightly fee of $50 (up to two well behaved dogs per room). Please be sure to let us know ahead of time if you are traveling with your pet: stay@shandakeninn.com. Rooms will be inspected the day of your departure; any extra cleaning fee or damage may result in additional charges to your credit card on file.

COTTAGES
Located on the grounds of Shandaken Inn, across the meadow from the main Inn, our Two Bedroom Cottages each feature 1,300 square feet of rustic charm with modern amenities and luxury accommodations. Shandaken Inn’s Cottages are purpose-built for groups of friends and families traveling together who want the amenities and experience of the Inn while having the privacy of a home. Guests staying at the Cottages will have full access to the Inn and the property’s various amenities, including the pool, tennis courts, and fitness center.
Two Bedroom Cottages
Each cottage includes a private exterior entrance, living space with gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchenette complete with dining area, two king bedrooms, and in-unit washer/dryer facilities. The cozy bedrooms have bespoke wallpaper and en suite bathrooms. The bathrooms have Blackman fixtures, rainfall showers, Portico ceramic tiles, and Malin + Goetz bath amenities. Sleeps 4 guests (up to 6 with an additional fee).
Each cottage is uniquely named and rooted in historical significance, highlighting some of our favorite historical inns and camps. Pines Cottage, named after The Pines Resort in Fallsburg, New York, later known as The Pines Hotel, boasted a nightclub frequented by performers and celebrities alike (Tony Bennett, and Joan Rivers, to name a few). Fallsview Cottage, named after the Fairview Hotel in Ellenville, New York, was owned and operated by a single family as part of the Nevele, from 1901 until 1997. Tamarack Cottage honors The Tamarack Lodge, a Tutor-style resort in Greenfield Park, New York. The Tamarack Lodge featured live performances by legendary bands such as Cream, The Who, Janis Joplin, and Jerry Lewis at their Playtorium Theater.

The Concord Master Suite is named after The Concord Resort Hotel, which was the largest and most lavish resort in the Catskills in the 1950s.

The Shandaken King suites are named for the the Nevele Grand Hotel and the Laurels Hotel & Country Club, two of the preeminent Catskill resorts through much of the 20th century.
Fun fact, “Nevele” is “eleven” backwards and was meant to pay homage to the eleven 19th century school teachers who are believed to have discovered a waterfall on the hotel’s property.
